May 2010 Sky-watch The May Full Moon is known as the Full Flower Moon and the Budding Moon. Flowers spring forth in abundance during the month of May. Native American tribes know this full Moon as the Corn Planting Moon or the Milk Moon. Remember, full moons are all about manifestation. They give you the gumption to look around you and decide if it is all working. If you don’t like what you see—you can always change.

Mercury Retrograde dates for 2010: Mercury rules communication, it's said that just about everything goes haywire in this area during a Retrograde. Emails get deleted or bounce back, postal mail is often returned, calls and messages go out into the ethers, etc. A lot of people find their computers go on a fritz or telephone lines go bonkers. Miscommunications seem to abound during a retrograde period. Mercury retrogrades give us time to catch up with ourselves, and to look back. Sometimes, things from the past might return to us in different forms, be open to that. This can mean people, ideas or buried insights that have been blocked/buried/set on the back burner will suddenly surface and you are finally able to move forward. It is wise to use this time as a contemplative time, look to what sign the retrograde falls under and what meaning that can have in areas of life lessons. Sodalite is a powerfully balancing and calming stone for the mind and helps brings inner peace. Sodalite also brings logic to intuition and harmony between people. This mineral/gemstone is a stabilizing stone that soothes nervousness. It is also a wonderful mental healer, clearing the mind of confusion. Sodalite can be helpful to use in group settings to help everyone involved be in alignment on a single purpose or agenda. I like to keep a piece of sodalite near my computer to block any unwanted/negative electromagnetic energies. I mix mint, sage and rosemary in a small bowl then add a piece of sodalite into the herb mix and place this on my desk.
